Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage is quite cheap
Xiaomi recently launched its highly-anticipated phone Redmi Note 5A in Beijing. It starts at price of 699 Yuan (about $106 and Rs. 6,842). There were two other versions of the device, which is around flagship build quality and spec-ed the same.
While the cheaper version comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage is powered by Snapdragon 425 processor, the top models come with the Snapdragon 435 with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and the best model comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. All those versions have dual sim card slot with a dedicated memory card slot.
Although it the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A was available for sale as soon it was launched, the 4GB model is still unavailable to buy. On Friday, it went on sale for 1199 Yuan (about $183 and Rs. 11,736) on their website for purchase.
It was a flash sale as it is not available on the Mi mall right now, Gizmo China reported, adding that the company is yet to disclose when the phone will be available to buy next.
Although Xiaomi is expected to release the Redmi Note 5A in markets like India before the year’s end, there is a quite possibly the Redmi Note 5A never sees the light outside China.
Apart from ram processor and storage, it has a 5.5-inch screen and 3,080 mAh battery. It also has a USB TYPE-C charging port. It also has a fingerprint sensor at the back.
For the optics, it has a feature-rich 16MP front-camera with f/2.0 aperture with flash and 1080p recording. For the rear snapper, it has 13MP with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash and PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus).
