Xiaomi to launch Full-view Mi Mix 3 with 10GB RAM and Camera slider: Specifications revealed
Xiaomi has been pretty competitive this year, with smartphone line competing in every segment from budget to flagship. With smartphone even announced in Flagship killer segment as well. The new Mi Mix editions bring the fight to the full view display phones. With Mi Mix 3 is expected to bring home the full-view display, camera slider with the taste of speed by additional 10GB of RAM.
Mi Mix smartphone series was one of the first series to have a bezel-less display, with initial devices closing in on more than 80% screen to body ratio on the initial device itself.
The Mi Mix 3 is expected to sport a huge 6.5″ Full HD+ screen with no bezels at all around the display. Under the hood, the smartphone will feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 paired with 10GB of RAM. The phone has a manual camera slider which houses in The Dual Cameras both front and rear.
On the Camera front, The smartphone is confirmed to sport dual 24Mp camera at the front, with 4K recording enabled. The dual cameras at the back are expected to be on the slider itself. As per the recent leaks, the Mi Mix 3 will have slow motion capabilities of 960 FPS, previously seen in Sony smartphones and Samsung’s flagship.
The phone is powered by a 4000 mAh battery with USB type-C connectivity and support for Quick charge 4.0+. Also, the phone is expected to have an Internal in-screen fingerprint sensor. Wireless charging for the new device is not yet confirmed but Xiaomi might bring this as Pro package.
Price and availability
The Chinese launch of the new Mi Mix 3 is slated for October 25th, the initial global launch of the smartphone has not yet been announced but is expected to fall a week apart as the Oneplus launched its new device on October 30th. Although Xiaomi has always kept the Global release and Chinese release months apart, this year the new device might be announced earliest because of the increasing competition in the market.
Initial pricing of the smartphone will be a matter of discussion, as the company is expected to bring change in the market prices of full view and slider smartphones. In India, the devices might get a price starting from Rs 45000 for the 8GB RAM+256 storage variant. Rs 55,000 for the 10GB RAm+512GB storage option.
