Xiaomi bringing the Mi Max to India

Xiaomi is reported to launch the new Mi Max in India in a event to be held on 30 June 2016 in New Delhi. The Mi Max was announced and released in May in China but never made it to India until now.
Mi Max is the Xiaomi’s new flagship phone with a massive 6.44″ screen size and a ridiculously good battery life. Xiaomi with this phone has abide with the phrase “the bigger the better” by giving this phone a ridiculously big screen. I mean the display is amazing for watching videos and playing games with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution and approx. 342 ppi pixel density. But the 6.44″ screen size makes it impossible to use with on hand unless you have really really big hands. The metal chasis feels amazing in hand but you need both of your hands to operate the phone. Well the massive size can work as a sunshade on a sunny day but but is still a two hand affair.

Retailing at 1,499 yuan ($230, £160 or AU$315, converted) for the cheapest model with 32GB of storage, this big screen phone does offer a lot of value.

The super big screen size paved way for more space for the battery. With a whooping 4850Mah battery the phone can last a day with crazy gaming and with the hardware just right we can run all those games on high graphics. With the octacore snapdragon 652 and andreno 510. Thats for sure this phone can perform.
The spec sheet as seen below is quite impressive.

Also there are some special features of note here in the MIUI 8 like hold the home button to turn on flashlight and the Apple’s assistive touch like thing, which is a great relief as it makes accessing the buttons easier and provides other shortcuts to take a screenshot. Pretty much like the Apple’s assistive touch.
With a premium metal body, massive battery and a 6.44″ screen size the phone is too good for watching videos and movies and looks fabulous but its super large size makes it difficult to use, Its also heavy and sticks out of your trousers pocket.

The fingerprint sensor is pretty amazing. We have seen better but we have seen a lot worse too.

All in all if the big screen size dosen’t bother you, this phone is a go for you.
If you want a big screen size only you can go for Huawei P8 Max or newly launched Zenphone 3 Ultra.

So what do you guys think about owning a phone with a massive screen size. Have any experiences with such a phone. Let us know in the comments section below.
