Samsung Galaxy A with “64 MP camera” to be launched soon
Samsung’s 2019 A-series smartphones have ben loaded with a lot of features. Starting with a few Samsung first features such as Infinity O display, Flip camera plus the series has been priced aggressively to win back the market attraction. This years lineup consists of A50, A60, A70 and A80. Each smartphone launched with more than 3 camera lens at the back. Now the company is touted to release another Samsung Galaxy A smartphone with 64mp primary lens.
Samsung’s ISOCELL GW1 sensor is the most probable bid for the camera lens. Given that it is Samsung’s in house lens also top Chinese smartphone manufacturers such as Xiaomi and Realme are bidding for the same. Samsung’s 48-mp GM1 lens performed well on Redmi Note 7 Chinese edition and Indian Redmi Note 7s.
Samsung Galaxy A70 to be re-launched with the new camera as Samsung Galaxy A70s
The infinity U display smartphone sports a 6.70-inch AMOLED FULL HD+ display. Under the hood, Samsung Galaxy A70s is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor that features 2 cores clocked at 2GHz and 6 cores clocked at 1.7GHz. paired with 6GB of RAM.
On the camera front, the smartphone on the rear packs a 64-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture; a second 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a third 5-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture. It sports a 32-megapixel camera on the front for selfies, with an f/2.0 aperture.
The smartphone runs on Samsung’s One UI based on Android 9.0 is powered by a 4,500mAh battery. The smartphone supports proprietary 25W fast charging.
Price and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy A-series smartphone with a 64MP is slated to launch in September while the Realme and Redmi counterparts are expected to launch in August itself. We expect the Samsung Galaxy A70s to be priced under Rs 30,000 although the Chinese counterparts are expected to be priced under Rs 20,000.
