Refurbished Galaxy Note 7 coming to Korean Market just for $250 cheaper

Samsung Galaxy Note 7It was long rumored that Samsung is planning to re-launch refurbished Galaxy Note 7 devices. By a report of a Korean company, its can be said that’s true. Samsung now officially plans to re-launch the Galaxy Note 7 in South Korea for $250 less.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was a amazing device not just in one sense. With came with Samsung’s signature Spen, dual curved display and also featured a iris scanner. It was unfortunate that such a great device had to bite the dust with samsung recalling it not once but twice due to batteries internally combusting.
Earlier this year, we started seeing reports that Samsung might be planning to re-launch the beloved Galaxy Note 7 in select markets. Now ET news confirmed that Samsung will actually be launching its Galaxy Note 7 in Korea by the end on June. It will be carried by all the major Korean carriers by the name of Samsung Galaxy Note 7R.
The best part is the price is estimated to be $620 which is way less than the original price of $870. Although these are not brand new devices, all of them have been refurbished by Samsung, meaning they should be in a “like-new” condition.

These refurbished units are expected to come with a smaller battery, 3200 mAh from 3500 mAh earlier and will run Android 7.0 out of the box. However, other than that, the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 should be the same great phablet that we all loved until it started exploding. Now, the question is whether consumers will be able to trust the Note brand – the exact same device, no less – that was so negatively publicized and whether this price cut will be enough of an incentive for them.

Despite the fact of Note brand name going down, Samsung is still sticking with its original Note 8 plans. In a survey showed that majority of people with be happy to buy a Refurbished Note 7. Its very likely to effect Galaxy S8’s sales in the country.

Unfortunately, Samsung has made it clear that it has no plans to launch the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 in the US or Canada or any other country in the world.
