Nokia 1 launched in India with Android Oreo Go Costs less than 6k

Nokia, One of the first few brands which come to mind when we discuss phone. Now under HMD global, Nokia has brought long-awaited Android Operating System smartphones to its smartphone in the recent history. Nokia has brought Go-version of the latest firmware in its entry-level smartphone Nokia 1.

Nokia 1 launched back in MWC 2018 with other couples of smartphones. The new smartphone is one of few phones released under the Go campaign.


All the other phones launch under this campaign have similar specs to bring to the table.

Nokia 1 sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It features a 5-megapixel camera at the back with a fixed focus lens and an LED flash. On the front, the handset has a 2-megapixel fixed focus camera.

The Android Go ecosystem promises to deliver an optimised experience in budget smartphones and comes with lightweight versions of Google apps and services, such as Gmail Go and Google Maps Go. By this, the Google is bringing more and more people on the platform. Even providing them rich quality services for the progress of society as of all.

The new Nokia 1 will be the most expensive Android go smartphone available in the market at Rs 5,499 thanks to its brand value and service centre spread across the nation which seems legit. Also, this will be the cheapest smartphone Nokia has to offer in the market.

The phone will be available in Dark blue and Warm Red colour options with Xpress on Covers priced at Rs. 450 and available in Azure and Grey or Yellow and Pink. There is also Cashback offers with this phone which brings down the effective price to less than 4K.
