Jio Fibre, broadband to cost less than Rs 500 for 100GB
Jio, Mukesh Ambani-led firm. Which entered the cellular market as havoc last year in September with free internet and voice services. Planning to shake the existing broadband market, with an entry in the broadband sector too. The firm is expected to bring a lot of exciting offers for the users. Named ” JIO Fibre “.
The company plans to start its campaign in the broadband market with voyage in 100 cities across India. They have already started testing their network in 10 cities including Gurgaon and Noida. In the pre-stage, the company is providing its services for free to attract customers and test their network.
Jio fibre, offers a high speed of 100 Mbps. This has been confirmed from multiple test run in the cities such as Mumbai and Noida. The company is offering the around double the speed provided by the existing market player. Even Hathway and Airtel are offering speed up to 50 Mbps.
Jio Fibre Prices
Jio fibre is free for the pre launch stage, which is till the commercial launch of the network. Which is expected to be in september end or October begining. The prices after the Commercial launch is to be around Rs 500 for 100Gb. Which is the half of the price and double of the data provided by the existing firms.
Jio will most likely have adverse affect to present firms, as it did in the cellular market. Also In mean time Jio is expected to launch DTH service which will work on high speed internet. Most likely the Jio DTH will work on Jio Fibre’s Internet network.
