Both the smartphone bring in the same camera combination. The rear Dual camera setup is 13mp+2mp and the Front is an 8mp shooter f/2.0 aperture. Also, it has a Facial unlock feature built in.

We were able to use the Rear camera in the extremely low light. It performed quite well according to the price range it falls in.

Under the hood

The lower tier Honor 7A has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset paired with 3GB RAM. Whereas the Upper-tier has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset paired with 3/4GB RAM options. Well both the smartphones are expected to deliver similar performance thanks to Octa-core.

While both Chipsets provides smooth performance while regular usage they might get overheated while playing the high-graphics game. The Honor 7C is less prone to Overheating quickly. We tested by playing Asphalt 8 on the smartphone. There wasn’t any lag for the first 10 mins though.

Both the smartphones bring in Android 8.0 oreo based EMUI 8.0. Which works quite lag-less with least amount of free-wares pre-installed. The smartphones are powered by a 3000 mah battery which might last around a day. There is no signs of Fast Charging.

The Honor 7A is priced at Rs 8,999 and the Honor 7C is priced at Rs 9999/- for the base variant and 12,999/- for the 4GB+64GB variant. At this price, the phone looks like a great deal but misses out on the performance segment. If you are looking for a new phone and playing PUBG or other high-performance games is the goal, this might not be your phone to look out for.

Average usage and premium design is the goal, the smartphone is the best pick in the price range.
