Google Pixel 4 leaks confirms Design, color and launch date

Google Pixel 4, Google’s flagship smartphone for the year. After apple’s much-anticipated launch of the new generation iPhones. All eyes are at Google’s Hat, Google has been launching its smartphone in August annually. Google Pixel device has always had arguably the best camera, but this year competition has gone levels up. With devices like Oppo Reno and Huawei P30, bringing in 4 cameras.

This time even Google has added another camera module on the Pixel device. Leaks suggest a similar square cut out as seen on the new iPhones.  It is is said that the Pixel device might have an up to 8X optical zoom. Also, Pixel devices use Google Camera which has one of the best AI algorithms.


The Google Pixel 4 and 4 XL will sport OLED quadHD+ display where the normal will have 5.3-inch 18:9 aspect ratio display with slim bezels holding the camera and other sensors whereas the Pixel 4 XL will sport a 6.4-inch with a similar design. The bezels kept are just to incorporate for the sensors. Minor chin at the bottom.

Under the hood, Both phones will have the latest Ai-boosted Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 paired with 6GB RAM. Google might not give an option to upgrade RAM on either device. The Smartphone has USB-Type C connectivity and supports Qualcomm quick charge 4.0+ also Wireless charging support as the previous year model.

On the camera front, the smartphones will have a tri-camera setup at the back. One primary 12mp lens other two being telephoto and ultrawide.

Pixel 4 will have a 90Hz panel, a faster and more secure facial recognition.

Price and Availability

The launch of the Google Pixel 4 smartphone is scheduled for October 15th, three colour variants have been leaked. Coral Orange and plain black and White. The price of the smartphone is expected to start from 699$ for the standard variant and 799$ for the XL variant.

With OnePlus 7T pro rumoured to launch soon. How Google Pixel 4 smartphones fare will be the next big question?
